Monmouth Recreational Gymnastics Club

Summer term starts on Wednesday April 30th and Saturday May 3rd for 8 sessions (excluding half term, Wednesday 28th and Saturday 31st May )

Term ends on June 28th. Fees for this term are £32 payable by May 1st.

The summer term is very short this year due to Easter being late and the lack of availability for the seating and gym for our open morning on June 28th.

All children are involved in the open morning. It is an inclusive celebration of gymnastics and dance and not a showcase of individual excellence. Please can I ask parents to try and attend all 8 sessions. Routines are done in group form and children missing can upset the practice.

The open morning will start at 11:00 am and tickets will be on sale from the start of term @ £2.50.

June 28th, Squad to arrive at 9:00 am, Seniors/Juniors @ 10:00 am and Wednesday children @10:30 am. Please can all children wear the club leotard.

Any raffle prizes donations would be amazing and can be brought into the gym from the beginning of term.

This will be my last term and open day after 28 years and I would like to thank all parents and children for their support during this time. It has been amazing and I will miss you all.

From September 2025 Hollie and Tash will be taking over the running of the gym club, both girls are already established coaches at the club.They both have been part of the gym club since they were just little girls themselves and have represented the club at many events during their time. They are very passionate, excited and enthusiastic at taking the gym club forward, and I know they will do an amazing job.

£6.50 per session (please book limited spaces)

Current Wednesday class, 11:30 - 12:15

Children are to arrive by the main entrance and will be welcomed into the gym by our safeguarding officer.

Parents are asked to wait outside the gym as we have very limited space. There is a cafe at the leisure centre serving snacks and drinks. Josie is always present to answer any questions or queries.
